A Norwegian WooCommerce store for a solidarity initiative, with 600+ products, colour and size options and clear category menus.
Save Palestine is a Norwegian solidarity initiative that sells clothing and accessories online. MH Tech Solutions designed and built its WooCommerce store at savepalestine.no, with more than 600 products across clothing for men, women and children, phone cases, mugs and tote bags, all in Norwegian.
The store had to handle a large catalogue in which most items come in several colours and sizes, and still be simple to browse on a phone. The site also explains how the initiative works. According to its About page, income left after product and running costs goes to organisations that support the Palestinian people.
Many garments are offered in up to ten colours and six sizes, from S to 3XL. Every option had to be clear on the product card, easy to pick, and carried through correctly to the cart.
Some shoppers look for clothing by group (men, women or children) and then by type (T shirts, jumpers or hoodies). Others come for a phone case, a mug or a tote bag. The menus had to work for both.
Everything from product names to the cart, account pages and store policies needed to read naturally in Norwegian, with prices shown in kroner.
We organised the catalogue into four ranges: clothing, phone cases, mugs and tote bags. Clothing is split into men, women and children, and each of those into T shirts, jumpers and hoodies. The same structure runs through the main menu, the mobile menu and the footer, so shoppers always know where they are.
Save Palestine now runs a working online shop with more than 600 products, colour and size options on its garments, and customer accounts. The category structure keeps a large range easy to browse on mobile and desktop, and the policy pages give shoppers the shipping and terms details they need before they buy.
The store gives the initiative one place to show its full range and take orders in Norwegian, and new designs can be added as products without changing the layout. See how we approach ecommerce solutions and web design and development for stores like this one.
