Executive Cars Melbourne: Web Design and SEO

Project Overview

Executive Cars is a Melbourne chauffeur service, running since 2012, for airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings and tours. We audited the old website in August 2026, then rebuilt it with online booking, card payments, city pages and rewritten service pages.

The new site went live on 29 September 2026. Passengers can now price a trip, choose a car and pay online or in the car, all in one visit.

The Challenge

Two pages for every suburb

The old site had 588 pages, and 487 of them had no internal links pointing to them, including most suburb pages. Each suburb had two separate pages, one for airport transfers and one for chauffeur hire.

A call button that did not dial

The click to call link in the header and footer carried both the country code and the leading zero, on every page of the site.

Slow loading on phones

In our tests the main content took 7.5 to 11.4 seconds to appear on a mobile phone. The cause was configuration, such as caching and a heavy icon font, not the design.

Review data that did not match

The review figures in the site’s structured data did not match the real Google profile, a risk for how the business appears in search.

What We Did

A fast custom site

We built a custom theme with no page builder and no plugins. Each suburb now has one page that answers both chauffeur and airport searches, and every old address was checked and redirected so nothing was lost. See our web design and development service.

Instant fares and Stripe payments

• An instant fare estimate on every bookable page, with tolls and GST included.
• Five cars to choose from, from the Executive Sedan to the Luxury Van.
• Secure Stripe payment at booking, or pay in the car.
• A PDF invoice attached to every booking and receipt email.
• A separate quote form for van hire and custom jobs.

Rewritten service and city pages

Airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, baby seats, events and private tours each have rewritten pages built around what people actually search. City sections for Sydney, Brisbane and Perth followed in October 2026. Learn more about our SEO content work.

Real reviews and correct data

The site now shows real reviews pulled from the Google profile, and its structured data uses the live rating and review count.

Results

In September 2026 the site earned 107 clicks from Google search. It is still early: the new site has only been live for a few weeks, and we are tracking search clicks and bookings month by month.
