Technical fixes and real local content on 153 thin suburb pages nearly doubled Google search clicks for a Melbourne taxi company.
Silver Taxi Melbourne is a Melbourne taxi and silver service company covering airport, corporate and hotel transfers. Since late May 2026 we have worked on the website, technical SEO and suburb content, including fixing thin content on 153 pages. Search clicks rose 97 percent, comparing March to May with July to September 2026.
The business already had a website and a Google profile, but most of its suburb pages gave Google very little to work with. The work focused on making every page correct, useful and clearly about its own suburb.
An audit in July 2026 found that 153 of 219 suburb pages relied on the same generic four question FAQ. With nothing to tell them apart, many pages barely ranked, even for their own suburb name.
The structured data described the business as a car rental company, placed it in the wrong suburb and showed an outdated rating. Several menu links led nowhere, and six service pages were still sitting as drafts.
A formatting fault had removed the dollar figure from the maxi surcharge on 52 pages, so visitors saw only part of the price.
We wrote 47 core suburb pages with a full body, a local About section and five detailed FAQs. We then fixed all 153 thin pages in batches, starting with the pages that had the most impressions. Each FAQ draws on real landmarks, postcodes, fares and the questions people actually type into Google. Read more about our SEO content service.
The suburb template was updated to show each page’s own content and FAQs, with matching FAQ structured data. On mobile, the sidebar now sits below the content and a fare estimator button was added to the fixed footer bar. This supports our wider local SEO work.
Figures from Google Search Console, comparing three months before and after the main content work:
All 219 suburb pages on the Silver Taxi Melbourne website now carry their own content and FAQs, and none rely on the generic template text.
